Ideal for both couples and families, however my stay was on business and I found the facilities great. My next accessibility obstacle was the stairs leading to the reception; I couldn't use their lift here because it opened out directly into the middle of a wedding party who were doing their speeches at the time and the exit was covered by a table anyway. Our room was good, the queen size bed very comfortable and the temperature about right for us. The food was delicious at the restaurant and so was the breakfast. Had a great day no problems at all Owners should be proud, nice to see them helping to serve the food as well. Photos are if dirt dust and hairs in my room which were never touched. Only a 3 star but far superior to lots of the 5 star we have stayed in. The food in the restaurant was reasonable priced, very tasty and good sized portions. He made our day so special.

Room 63 that we had also booked couldn't be any more different. I highly recommend The diplomat to anyone looking for a wedding venue! Only slight niggle was single beds but it was fine. We were drawn in by the fantastic deals they have on and the very good reputation. We were visiting relatives nearby so did not stay much in the hotel itself. I'd not been here for years and had not seen the major addition to what was a fairly dated but well run hotel. I will share your lovely comments with the team. My wife and I have just come back from Llanelli in wales. Even when I asked are you sure his response was I think so Gli ospiti con animali domestici saranno alloggiati nella dependance.

Clean and freshly smelling, though slightly dated and ripped bedding. We have been before and found it quite good but this time it was disappointing. The carrots had not been peeled and where left in huge chunks also the food was not up to a nice hot temperature a good well made proper Sunday dinner should be! I wish i had booked somewhere else. Se i dati riportati sono sbagliati, correggi direttamente la pagina biografica; le modifiche saranno visibili in questa lista dopo pochi giorni. Nothing is too much trouble. If I could guarantee a decent room in the future and convince the kids we didn't need to use the pool, then I'd possibly return. Does not look like the pictures. We had our wedding at this faultless hotel, everything was 1st class from start to end!

Room was dark and having no fan or aircon available too warm. The drinks were reasonably priced and the bar staff attentive and courteous. That evening we were delighted by The Adams Family the entertainment was wonderful but it did seem a bit on the short side as it finished by 9. Food: the food was excellent — both for breakfast and for dinner. Sheldon was amazing from the very first day we met him to the end. I will make sure to share your comments about the timing of the show with our events team. Some of the white table cloths were dirty, the roof was leaking, a solid cake knife was left over from the last function, black covered chairs with holes in the fabric and a child's sweet left on the floor. Food tasty and good value. Got to our room which had 2 double beds, comfy armchairs for watching the T.

We have used the Diplomat on a number of occasions, from weddings, tribute acts, and other dinner evenings. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish your son and daughter-in-law many congratulations from everyone at the Diplomat Hotel. We had our wedding here, and the whole process from start to finish was fantastic- all thanks to Sheldon. Last time I stayed In the wing above the Lounge area. I understand nobody likes to wait but this was ridiculous. However I didn't have any towels or shampoos on either of my nights. Had afternoon tea here for a baby shower back in sept lovely big spacious room we were in the conservatory food was ok, only had sandwiches and cakes thought there would have been a savoury snack, the owner closed the doors as we were a little loud talking and there were people having food in the restaurant we didn't mind just made it a little more private, drinks were a little pricey but all in all we had a good time. What lets this hotel down is the spa. Wide variety of drinks availability at the bar and prices weren't extortionate at all. The restaurant food is amazing, freshly prepared and cooked meaning adjustments for allergy etc is easy.

The food was delicious at the restaurant and so was the breakfast. Our room was good, the queen size bed very comfortable and the temperature about right for us. Breakfast was particularly mediocre, but did come with bottomless weak coffee. You can have it black - is this acceptable? The Reception area was lovely. Thank you. The till back has an advertising lcd screen. Sue and Tony Richards.

All in all a very pleasant afternoon. We as walkers were pleased to find a cycle walking track at the rear of the hotel that took you into town avoiding the busy road. Plenty of parking makes it even more accessible. Excellent Hotel with great food and friendly staff and service. Staff give the impression that they cannot be bothered whatsoever. Our room wasn't ready, so Royal immediately moved our booking to another room which was ready. We booked this hotel for a relaxing break and to use the facilities which we will now not be able to do. He was really friendly and when we got locked out of our room which was often he would let us in and made sure we had our keys. Nobody in our group of 55 people found anything to complain about other than the way our team played. Every room in the place, from the conference room to the restaurant is far too hot, presumably because the ugly AC units are all broken.

Had a lovely stay here. Couldn't fault it. Thank you. The food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely return. We will be back! The Food was Excellent and the Staff couldn't do enough for you. We arrived on the Friday evening and left on Sunday afternoon after spending some time in the spa.

We will be sure to look into this incident. Thank you for making our day so very special x. From arrival to departure ,the staff were welcoming and helpful. We held the ceremony, day reception and evening event and Sheldon made it absolutely spectacular. I didn't ask to change rooms. Who gave me the impression that she was genuinely interested in us. I chose chicken in a sauce with rice which was delicious and that was followed by a cheesecake, also really tasty. Ganesly was our waitress and she was lovely and attentive to our every need. Some of the white table cloths were dirty, the roof was leaking, a solid cake knife was left over from the last function, black covered chairs with holes in the fabric and a child's sweet left on the floor.

Enjoyed fab time in pool hot tub. Regards, Brian P. Everything was perfect. Wow what can i say Staff appeared to be confused as to where they were serving. When we informed management 'the director' told us simply she should not do that and sorry. It was a buffet and there was a wide choice of hot and cold food. The staff were amazing and very helpful, especially Gainsley, who looked after us very well at breakfast and the veggie Glamorgan sausages were delicious! Breakfast very good, everything we needed and all well cooked and hot. The room was pleasant and spacious and had good facilities.

Will certainly return. There was a good size heated towel rail. We took advantage of using the spa. On or second night, we ate at the bar because the group was too loud and though it be best to get a bar meal and we were greeted by a friendly, helpful and warm bartender named Gareth, we had a good chat and we ordered our food, drinks and dessert with him. I would not hesitate to return as I know I would have a really good meal. Kind regards Management Team. Thank you. The Gym is small, however has the majority of what you need, however the Spa is it's crowing achievement, well worth a visit. He is about 70 with grey hair. A little hot but at the moment everywhere is!

Spoke with others who had paid less but usually by booking in advance. The rooms are great, the food is very tasty for breakfast and evening meal in the bar and the pool is very clean and warm. Our room didn't have heating and it was absolutely freezing at night. All Staff extremely helpful and friendly a lovely place to stay. Waitress overstretched kept forgetting drinks orders at breakfast. A family bereavement forced me to look for an hotel local to the hospital. The carrots had not been peeled and where left in huge chunks also the food was not up to a nice hot temperature a good well made proper Sunday dinner should be! She couldn't do enough. Cannot say thank you enough.

The bar is reasonably priced too, for a big chain that is. Squeaky floor above our room. The food was plentiful and the sweets were most enjoyable. A good selection, the hot was refreshed regularly so didn't dry out. I am gluten intolerant and my selection of food was just as good as the standard afternoon teas. This imposing building set up a slope overlooking Felinfoel used to be the home of Brian Trubshaw the former Concorde test pilot. My husband also used the sauna and steam room. All the windows opened to provide ventilation. Well done chef and thanks for a great meal.

Lost a star due to spa area being a bit tired. I had to personally sk for fresh towels. Loads of hangers in the wardrobe. The bar staff are also very cheerful and make you feel welcome. My son and his fiance chose the Diplomat as their wedding venue. The hotel had their money for the room as it was pre-paid and knew there was nothing we could do about the situation. My next accessibility obstacle was the stairs leading to the reception; I couldn't use their lift here because it opened out directly into the middle of a wedding party who were doing their speeches at the time and the exit was covered by a table anyway. Beautiful festive lights and trees and we were given a room in the coach house as we brought our little dachshund. The food was quite nice but not what I expected at all from a hotel that prides itself on its dining. We are pleased to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay and that you liked your room.

Me and my partner chose the diplomat hotel for our wedding. I walked into the dining room and all you could smell was the rancid oil from the Kitchen. The scones were cheap and nasty and the rest we took home for the children. The town centre is not really walkable — there is a multi-story carpark right in the town centre - although we did manage to walk to the top of the hill to the Park Howard Museum and Gallery — worth a look for the history of the local pottery industry. So relaxing and the spa facilities were well run. La struttura dispone di centro benessere. I had lunch with my friend in the Diplomat. In fairness, they'd put some modern furniture in which helped but The food was absolutely lovely - breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I certainly would not visit this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone either. Who ever was responsible for this I would of given their last written warning for gross misconduct. The two rooms we booked were huge with large comfortable beds, good sized bathrooms and clean. The room was comfy and welcoming. The breakfast was a buffet style, but had table service for drinks. The bar staff are also very cheerful and make you feel welcome. Bed was uncomfortable and room extremely hot, even with radiator switched off. Last time I stayed In the wing above the Lounge area. Would stay again!

I'd not been here for years and had not seen the major addition to what was a fairly dated but well run hotel. Exhausted but can't sleep because of the noise downstairs and outside. The room we stayed at was very old, bathroom mouldy with a very dodgy shower curtain, only one towel instead of two promised to send one in, never happened. Me and my partner chose the diplomat hotel for our wedding. We have stayed here twice now and both times we have not been disappointed. We held the ceremony, day reception and evening event and Sheldon made it absolutely spectacular. My second visit and wont be my last. I understand nobody likes to wait but this was ridiculous. I booked a spa afternoon with tea for my sisters 40th birthday, I phoned the hotel several times throughout the day of which they didn't answer, I was trying to book treatments for our visit. All the Staff were helpful.

Da Wikipedia, l'enciclopedia libera. We were visiting in order to attend a funeral, but would definitely consider visiting again. Everything was just perfect. Our lovely receptionist said that we were able to use the spa and our afternoon tea would be served in the restaurant at 1pm. Birthday girl will be back again for lunch with friends , on Saturday. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the hotel for afternoon tea and a great spa experience. Last time I stayed In the wing above the Lounge area. Everything was perfect. Lovely hotel rooms were perfect. He was really friendly and when we got locked out of our room which was often he would let us in and made sure we had our keys.

There is a table and bench outside on the patio out front, for sunny days. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly and helpful, so it didn't detract from the event. Towels that were left on first day were full of holes and they did not replace toiletries on second day. Lovely hotel rooms were perfect. We took advantage of using the spa. The food was delicious and the DJ played really great music. Service was very good. Service here was pretty good also.

We had a ground floor room to the left of reception, possibly number 40 which was handy as we were popping back and fore all day. Dear hotel, is there a reason why breakfast finishes so early??? However we probably did arrive at the wrong time and any other time, I reckon we would have had fewer complaints. There is free parking in the carpark outside, however this can fill up quickly if there is an event at the hotel. It was very quiet when we went - only another 2 people. We understand the business requires attracting the market so I didn't mention this to management. We hope to be able to welcome you back to the hotel in the future. We stayed at the Best Western Diplomat Hotel.

I was completely astounded that rooms like this still exist. The breakfast is excellent. We understand the business requires attracting the market so I didn't mention this to management. However, when it came it was served up in the hotel dining room! Sheldon was brilliant, handling all aspects of the day and acting as MC. One of them approaches me and made suggestive comments. I didn't ask to change rooms. The receptionist was polite and checked us in with ease. All of this done with friendly smiles. We opted not to pay for breakfast as it was being priced at over one hundred pound for my family for two days.

The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. When the food eventually came they all decided to clap and ridicule the staff; If this was you, reading this, you absolute tools polite. We were visiting in order to attend a funeral, but would definitely consider visiting again. Nothing odd so far! Comfortable bed and nice pool and hot tub. Four of us had Sunday lunch in the conservatory and it was excellent. They do have a lift to take you to the floors which Is always good If you are not able to climb the Stairs or you have a lot of baggage. I stayed in coach house - comfortable.

Booked this for a last minute emergency stay. The hotel offers both restaurant dining and a bar menu, both of which I have found to be high quality. Rilassati e apprezza i servizi gratuiti del nostro centro benessere. Very charming and friendly Hotel, made very welcome during our stay restaurant excellent with very good food. The reason is that there old men are always in the Jacuzzi in an evening. Nicely equipped gym with plenty of windows. The bar is reasonably priced too, for a big chain that is. On or second night, we ate at the bar because the group was too loud and though it be best to get a bar meal and we were greeted by a friendly, helpful and warm bartender named Gareth, we had a good chat and we ordered our food, drinks and dessert with him. We had not been informed when booking that these works would be carried out during our stay and when we advised the staff why we were leaving early they didn't seem interested. The location is a great base to explore the Gower.

We was gob smacked as this hotel put us in a dreadful position and all we received was verbal sorry. There is good parking but if there is an event on parking can quite difficult. Well done to everyone at the Diplomat for an enjoyable lunch. There is a table and bench outside on the patio out front, for sunny days. Wish we could have stayed longer! Friendly staff, cosy bar area with reasonably priced drinks. How you could have a wedding reception there puzzles me. Top class wedding venue in Llanelli - amazing from start to finish and would recommend to anybody, the coordinator was one of a kind with superb knowledge of his business and products and assisted at every aspect of the wedding from the initial enquiry till check out the day after, the staffing team couldnt do enough for everyone and the food was fantastic, the guests were stunned at the level of service provided by the venue.

Food: the food was excellent — both for breakfast and for dinner. The one polish waitress was frazzled and kept disappearing, one could clearly see that she could not cope. The venue is stunning. We have been before and found it quite good but this time it was disappointing. I recommend wrapping loo roll round remote and kettle handle as they arent cleaned. Small problems were quickly dealt with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Shower was adequate, mind you close the shower curtain all the way around to the shower head as the toilet roll holder is over the bath tub This went on until am!!! The other waitress, Jaden I think her name was, stayed calm and friendly amd knew how to handle her customers.

Nothing is too much trouble. We attended the Robbie Williams tribute night and carvery. Dessert was a cheesecake, and waiters came round with this. The Gym is small, however has the majority of what you need, however the Spa is it's crowing achievement, well worth a visit. So it's now past 10pm and I'm laying awake on a week day due to some party or prom taking place downstairs with blasting music. No hot water for 3 day stay and maintenance work carried out all day Saturday in room beneath us leaving us unableto relax. And they hadnt even eaten crisps! Plenty of choice for everyone.

All told we was charged full price for a third of the service, a RIP off. The owner of this hotel is a joke I booked this hotel as I am I best western rewards member and we got a gift voucher for a stay with evening meal at a choice of hotels. Bathroom was massive, with walk in rainforest shower and double sinks. The staff at the Diplomat were amazing. Poolside atmosphere was very relaxing. I don't think we'll return. She showed us around the facilities and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was just perfect. I was initially told that I'd have to pay an extra thirty pound but this was rescinded when I pointed out our booked configuration. The first room in the coach house was

Cannot fault and will definately use again. Plenty of food nicely presented. The staff were very polite and attentive. Although not there strictly for just a rehearsal, this review is to confirm that the venue is an excellent location to catch up and meet with friends. There was little recognition of the furniture dilemma. Shout out to the reception staff who on checking out, were interested in my views of the refurbished rooms and the hotel, thank you for asking. We had a free glass of prosecco with our first nights meal as part of our package. The way the staff carried on serving and rising above these idiots was perfect. Both simply choices but cooked to perfection with quality ingredients.

Our order was taken quickly and the wine arrived in a timely manner. The Ham Hock was good, the Duck breast superb. Paid for myself, partner and 7 year old daughter to stay for one night. Room we stayed in was great - large, clean and had a nice sofa area plus a desk so very spacious. Leisure centre was good with pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi all clean. I was completely astounded that rooms like this still exist. The staff were without exception absolutely lovely and so helpful. The staff were friendly, helpful and full of smiles. Definitely the highlight of our stay was the lovely Spa and again the very friendly welcoming staff.

The other waitress, Jaden I think her name was, stayed calm and friendly amd knew how to handle her customers. We had breakfast at the hotel earlier this week. Well done to everyone at the Diplomat for an enjoyable lunch. All was perfect. The restaurant food is amazing, freshly prepared and cooked meaning adjustments for allergy etc is easy. Tapas place at the end of the driveway looked interesting too. Had a good nights sleep as the hotel was very quiet. The bar had an adjacent balcony with comfortable furniture on. Traditional breakfast served by cheerful and very hard working lady. We went to our rooms felt a real mixed bag of emotion.

We just had our wedding here and cannot thank the staff at the diplomat enough, Sheldon was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, so much room all our guests were complementing how lovely everything was , the rooms were amazing, clean comfortable and spacious, food , amazing , really cannot fault this hotel. Yes but not at what I assume was full price. So it's now past 10pm and I'm laying awake on a week day due to some party or prom taking place downstairs with blasting music. A really impressive room that I'd happily stay in any day of the week! There appeared to be only one member of staff in the whole building, he took our order made the tea and coffee, ran the bar and was even checking people into the hotel. I brought my mum here for a present for spa and afternoon tea. Will certainly return. Menu di navigazione Strumenti personali Accesso non effettuato discussioni contributi registrati entra. Would love to come back again. Stayed for one night and only real grumbles where it's a bit tired and a tad expensive given it is only a three star.

They couldn't have been more helpful and cheerful. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay and that your night was compromised by noise. I will take your comments on board and discuss the issues raised with the management team. Great value for money. Loads of hangers in the wardrobe. The suite was beautifully decorated in accordance with the bride's ideas, everyone commented on how great the venue is, the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Food was great and I liked the spaces and places to hang out. The portions were generous and the service good with plenty of choice at breakfast.

Evening meals were very good, breakfast average, staff were very good. The level of service was exceptional! Booked to stay again in a few weeks and looking forward to being tended on by lovely caring staff. The hotel itself was very nice, and staff also especially the reception staff who went out of there way to be helpful The service very hit and miss Was very disappointed that we could only have our evening meal either before 6. I dont usually leavecreviews like this but this hotel is the worst i have ever stayed at. Only a 3 star but far superior to lots of the 5 star we have stayed in. There I was lying on the bed breastfeeding my baby when housekeeping just let themselves into my room. Towels that were left on first day were full of holes and they did not replace toiletries on second day.

The soup was nothing special, carvery was really disappointing - beef was tough and servings of meat were far from generous; there was a very poor selection of veg, just sprouts and frozen carrots wirh potatoes, gravy was served by staff with a ladle and tasted very much like it was not homemade. Receptionist was polite but seemed unable to help whatsoever, asked to speak to a manager but one was not available. I do think they need to train the other waitress a bit more and they should change those awful, dated and ruddy red carpets. Other places offer other savouries and are cheaper. Plenty of brew kit available, just contact the front desk if you run out. What a star! Cannot say thank you enough to all the staff at the Diplomat, Llanelli. Everything was explained and discussed with us in detail. I brought my mum here for a present for spa and afternoon tea. Thank you very much to Ainsley I think that's how you spell it at breakfast.

As we had a delivery to make close by and having travelled miles stopped here for the night. The rooms are great, the food is very tasty for breakfast and evening meal in the bar and the pool is very clean and warm. Good entertainment on Saturday night. Even if you could get used to the smell, I would pity the bride trying to get the smells out of her dress. We didn't manage to catch the live music that she informed us was on in the bar as we needed to catch up on some sleep, but many thanks for mentioning this to us and also asking if our meal was fine. I am a member of the gym, and used to enjoy using the pool and Jacuzzi. How you could have a wedding reception there puzzles me. Booked to stay again in a few weeks and looking forward to being tended on by lovely caring staff.

We could see they were busy so didn't want to keep asking and that's what it felt like. All in all I had a fantastic stay for three nights and am looking forward to booking with them again in the near future. There were proper LED reading lights on both sides of the large double bed, lots of accessible sockets with USB points on them. The Gym is small, however has the majority of what you need, however the Spa is it's crowing achievement, well worth a visit. An iron in the room would have been useful had there been one. Rooms spacious, comfy and clean with a few signs of ageing. The food is excellent in the Trubshaw restaurant with the maincourses excellent and the service first class The leisure facilities are top notch with a small but deep swimming pool, Sauna, Steamroom and Jacuzzi. Everything was just perfect. The disco afterwards was lacking, do clearly wasn't reading the room and pretty much everyone left early. It's a shame as for what we experienced I would have to find alternative accommodation when revisiting Llanelli.

Decent selection of drinks at the bar. Regards, Brian P. A little tad overpriced for the food but It was nice. We hope to be able to welcome you back to the hotel in the future. Stayed here whilst on a bike tour of Wales, the room was recently refurbished and large and airy, loads of room to stash motorbike gear. We where told the set price for a starter and carvery and then dessert and coffee would be extra. Very charming and friendly Hotel, made very welcome during our stay restaurant excellent with very good food. The entertainment started after food, at around 9. Thank you all. When we had dessert I could not believe my eyes that in that a hotel is still using cheap squirty synthetic cream to apparently finish off a dessert shocking to say the least as fresh cream is not expensive at all.

The food in the evening was absolutely fantastic think it was called the steak diplomat and was cooked to perfection! I wish i had booked somewhere else. I was told a manger would give me a call later that afternoon but no one called. Value-for-Money: whilst not the best value-for-money I have ever had — particularly given the location - the room, food and staff were all first class — so, I was content! You needed a magnifying glass to see the pate!. All in all I had a fantastic stay for three nights and am looking forward to booking with them again in the near future. Well I have just revisited the Diplomat for a spa day with afternoon tea and although last time was very good, this time was a huge improvement! Excellent value for money in very comfortable facilities. It was a great evening overall hence the ranking.

Sue and Tony Richards. Great value too Arrived in Hotel, warm welcome lovely ambience, cosy atmosphere The meal was lovely, very attentive staff. Our Christmas Eve birthday lunch birthday girl thoroughly enjoyed and evening meal were delicious. The hotel was welcoming and the rooms we had were big and extremely clean. Definitely recommend and thank you to the staff for an amazing weekend and making my mother in laws birthday so special. Breakfast was buffet style which is not my favourite, but, I was pleasantly surprised on both mornings. Although we didn't stay onsite what we saw of the hotel was clean and well run.

Our visit coincided with the very popular annual Jazz Weekend which made for a highly entertaining afternoon and a vibrant atmosphere. I would not hesitate to return as I know I would have a really good meal. I understand nobody likes to wait but this was ridiculous. Will certainly return. Stayed here for a walking weekend. I can not praise them enough, the chef is a food connoisseur and we reaped the benefit. I attended an event over the weekend March. Shout out to the reception staff who on checking out, were interested in my views of the refurbished rooms and the hotel, thank you for asking. The bar ran out of strong bow cider and several other drinks.

Loads of hangers in the wardrobe. The facilities were really clean, the pool temperature was perfect, jacuzzi perfect. Let's focus on that one for now. The till back has an advertising lcd screen. Sheldon was brilliant, handling all aspects of the day and acting as MC. Very impressed. The entertainment was great and I did enjoy it. It was a buffet and there was a wide choice of hot and cold food.

Mistakes like the ones above should never have happened. Dear hotel, is there a reason why breakfast finishes so early??? The doors on the lift are also comically slow- they genuinely look like they are in slow motion when they open and close. You can hear everything through thin walls - trying to sleep can hear next doors television blasting - beds uncomfortable - both of us woke up with a stiff back One packet of biscuits containing two inside for a family of 3 - Milk sachets we're sour, so could not make a complimentary coffee in the morning - my partner went down to the bar to purchase two coffees around 9. Would I go back. Food was lovely and service great. We had a very large room with 2 double beds, comfortable armchairs and lots of drawer space. Now to the hotel itself.

The suite was beautifully decorated in accordance with the bride's ideas, everyone commented on how great the venue is, the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Unfortunately, we were woken at am by what sounded like furniture being dragged. There was a good size heated towel rail. Room was outstanding and clean. The only minor irritation was the lift which was very slow and no choice of tea bags in the room. Your staff are a great asset and a clear reflection of good management! Wow what can i say Booked an early birthday for me and my friend at the spa with afternoon tea , have to say how pleasant and friendly Anjelika on reception is, she is just a little gem!

I think he may have even made the sandwiches, they had been slapped together with far too much "spread" which overpowered the filling which was only egg mayo, ham and beef which were garnished with a "lump of lettuce". Staff are nice and chatty so that's definitely a pro. All family and friends had the best evening there thanks to Sheldon and the staff at the Diplomat. And they hadnt even eaten crisps! Great value for money. Booked to stay again in a few weeks and looking forward to being tended on by lovely caring staff. U can have a free pudding it took him ages to even say sorry avoid not good service at all. It's a shame as for what we experienced I would have to find alternative accommodation when revisiting Llanelli. The bar ran out of strong bow cider and several other drinks. Excellent leisure facilities and restaurants.

She showed us around the facilities and nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and just all around brilliant in the face of what must have seemed really strange. Food was excellent esp the Sunday dinner. The spa is lovely, very clean, compact but the facilities are great with lots of natural light. We were allowed in eventually. The staff are friendly and are happy to take time to make the guests feel at home. This was very loud in our room, not to mention the squeaky rhythmic floorboards of the room above and the sound of a female moaning and whining! We hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the future. We got married yesterday at The Diplomat, and everything was absolutely perfect. Every room in the place, from the conference room to the restaurant is far too hot, presumably because the ugly AC units are all broken.

The food was full of flavour and piping hot. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and just all around brilliant in the face of what must have seemed really strange. Staff appeared to be confused as to where they were serving. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The rooms are unspectacular, however comfortable and large. Today I was the first to have the new menu. I feel the evening should have started at 7pm instead of 7. I had a shower in my grans house who lives in swansea who i was visiting as didnt want to shower or bath in the bath thanks! As we had a delivery to make close by and having travelled miles stopped here for the night.

If we were to stay here again I'd defiantly try to get 24 again, ok there was slight traffic noise but the room more than made up for that. Loads of hangers in the wardrobe. In fairness, they'd put some modern furniture in which helped but Very impressed. What lets this hotel down is the spa. Food was great and I liked the spaces and places to hang out. The facilities we saw were so tired looking that we didn't even bother with checking out the spa facilities. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing.

It would be great for someone who couldn't walk very far but the shower was over the bath The first night the room was sweltering but the next day we found the radiator thermostat and had a much more comfortable second night. A family bereavement forced me to look for an hotel local to the hospital. Comfortable bed and nice pool and hot tub. We were left to enjoy and not rushed at all. Not only the above it was more the attitude and lack of customer service provided. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. My husband surprised me with a night at this hotel as they had a musical night on which he knows I love. It is a smart and functional hotel, with friendly, helpful, multi-lingual staff. I will pass your lovely feedback onto our team. Staff appeared to be confused as to where they were serving.

I did not use the Spa so I cannot make a comment on that. We can't understand the harsh negative reviews, one which mentioned the tap in our room only giving hot water. I liked this Hotel and would stay here again. Not only the above it was more the attitude and lack of customer service provided. Definitely recommend and thank you to the staff for an amazing weekend and making my mother in laws birthday so special. Regards, Brian P. We had no room for desert, what a pity as the choice was fantastic.

Would stay again if visiting locally. When I finally got through the staff member said the spa beautian wouldn't be in I was too late in requesting the treatments. And they hadnt even eaten crisps! Friendly welcome from staff, spacious comfortable room, great food in the restaurant - Isabella the waitress was really good. Service was very good. An iron and board are available on request from the front desk. The bathroom, while good lacked that quality of finish. We ate all our meals at the hotel as we were there at a small corporate event. Cars trying to get right outside the hotel entrance struggled to get up the steep incline and wheels kept spinning as if it was ice.

They had uneaten complete round crisps on their floor!! We as walkers were pleased to find a cycle walking track at the rear of the hotel that took you into town avoiding the busy road. The bathroom was huge with fluffy towels. The level of service has been exceptional and we cannot thank Sheldon enough for helping our day to be seamless. Ideal for both couples and families, however my stay was on business and I found the facilities great. How does that happen!? Enjoyed fab time in pool hot tub. The hotel is close to the M 4 also not to far away from the coast line. Stayed here whilst on a bike tour of Wales, the room was recently refurbished and large and airy, loads of room to stash motorbike gear. Da Wikipedia, l'enciclopedia libera.

The quality of our afternoon tea was exceptional and there was a large amount of cakes and sandwiches. My husband also used the sauna and steam room. The food was delicious at the restaurant and so was the breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble and nothing fails to impress at every level. Yes but not at what I assume was full price. I don't think we'll return. Entertainment was fantastic and we all had an amazing night. The wait for the food was a little bit longer than hoped but what can you do?

Our lovely receptionist said that we were able to use the spa and our afternoon tea would be served in the restaurant at 1pm. It could do with a little bit of a makeover, but it was comfortable and it was lovely to sit and relax outside with a pimms, after a hard day walking. I booked a spa afternoon with tea for my sisters 40th birthday, I phoned the hotel several times throughout the day of which they didn't answer, I was trying to book treatments for our visit. We really enjoyed ourselves. The main courses were chicken, triple cooked chips and salad for my partner, and the rib-eye steak with mushroom, and triple cooked chips garnished with salad for me. I had long black hairs on my bathroom floor and i am blonde and short haired! A very nice and comfortable hotel, staff were friendly and very helpful Sheldon and Pauline were great helping us with dinner and breakfast menu food was excellent full marks to the chef. Plenty of brew kit available, just contact the front desk if you run out.

The entertainment was great and I did enjoy it. Can't do enough for you, always happy to please, all facilities were fantastic, the afternoon tea was delicious, plenty to eat and drink, enjoyed so much I have booked for a family visit in two weeks time. Don't get me wrong the cakes were delicious but 3 sandwiches each was terrible. They served everyone with dignity and professionalism including the pompous, obnoxious, creatures. I think that management could consider limiting mobile phones usage to the lobby rather than the bar itself. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and just all around brilliant in the face of what must have seemed really strange. Breakfast very good, everything we needed and all well cooked and hot. I was completely astounded that rooms like this still exist.

About Meztizuru

A good evening was had by all but a few things spoilt it. Bar ams restaurant looked ok but did not use them. All in all a great weekend, thanks to the staff at The Diplomat and the entertainers who made the evening. Check in process was polite.
